CNC OperatorLocation: Melton Mowbray, LeicestershirePay: 16.00- 18.00 per hour, depending on experienceHours: Monday - Friday, Day ShiftDuration: Temporary - Projects throughout OctoberStart: ASAPBarker Ross are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to support a busy client working on a number of high-end Christmas projects throughout October.The role will involve operating CNC machinery to produce bespoke components for retail window displays and in-store activations, working with materials including MDF, timber and sheet materials.Duties will include:Setting and operating CNC machineryProducing bespoke components from MDF, timber and other materialsWorking from drawings, designs and specificationsLoading materials and ensuring accurate machine set-upMonitoring the machining process and checking finished componentsCarrying out quality checks to ensure a high standard of finishWorking alongside Bench Hand Joiners and the wider workshop teamFollowing all workshop health and safety proceduresThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a joinery or manufacturing environmentExperience working with MDF, timber or similar materialsAbility to read and work from technical drawingsGood attention to detail and accuracyExperience setting CNC machineryCNC programming experience would be advantageousExperience within shopfitting, exhibition builds, bespoke furniture or retail display manufacturing would be beneficialThis is a temporary ..... full job details .....
