Document Controller - Education Project
Location: Wolverhampton (4 days on site, 1 day working from home)
Rate: -18.00 - -24.00 per hour (DOE)
Contract Length: Up to 3 Years

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a leading Main Contractor delivering a major education project in Wolverhampton.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract of up to 3 years on a high-profile project, offering flexible working arrangements with 4 days on site and 1 day working from home.

The Role

As Document Controller, you will play a key role in managing project documentation, ensuring all drawings, technical information and project records are accurately controlled and distributed across the project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining project documentation using BIM 360 and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Uploading, distributing and tracking drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Ensuring document control procedures are followed by all project stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate document registers and revision histories.
• Coordinating drawing reviews, approvals and transmittals.
• Liaising with site teams, design consultants, subcontractors and project management teams.
• Producing reports and supporting project audits when required.
• Ensuring all project information is current, accurate and easily accessible.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
• Experience working for a Main Contractor on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM 360 and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Experience managing drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
• Education, healthcare or public sector project experience would be advantageous.
