Responsibilities:Influences business decisions throughout the governance process, ensuring identification and mitigation of business risk as appropriate.Promotes a culture of best practice and sharing of knowledge within the function and across the wider business, including communicating potential opportunities/risks across the companyConstructs and leads the commercial and contractual elements of the governance deliverables, including but not limited to developing negotiation strategies and obligations registers that identify the key business, contractual and commercial business risks.Supports negotiations with potential customers and/or in relation to large or complex tenders and prepare or reviews, as required, various commercial agreements, such as NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Collaboration Agreements, etc.As appropriate, supports and guides the Commercial team to achieve the goals of the business.Responsible for ensuring business approvals within delegated authority and managing those requiring escalation due to complexity or value.
