SEND Teaching Assistant Secondary School Kingston London 105- 115 per day Long Term Role Starting ASAPThe Opportunity:Support students with autism and behavioural challenges across a range of subjectsInclusive and well-resourced mainstream secondary school with a strong SEN support teamWork closely with the SENCo and class teachers to deliver targeted supportExcellent long-term career development opportunitiesFull-time, Monday to FridayTerm-time only role, paid up to 115 per dayBased in Kingston (KT3) with good transport linksImmediate start, with potential for long-term placementKey Responsibilities:Deliver tailored support under the direction of the SENCo to meet the needs of pupils with autism and behavioural issuesMaintain a calm and structured learning environment using effective behaviour management strategiesProvide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needsHelp pupils stay engaged in class by adapting resources and tasks as neededPromote inclusion and support students'' emotional and academic developmentAssist students in developing independence, organisation, and confidenceCollaborate with teachers and pastoral teams to monitor and adjust interventionsWho We''re Looking For:A minimum Level 3 qualification (essential)Experience supporting children with autism, behavioural difficulties, or complex needs in a school settingCalm, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with challenging behaviourStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitted to
