The successful candidate will join an associate-led team, taking responsibility for delivering projects, managing client relationships and supporting the development of intermediate and graduate engineers. This is a technically focused role with an element of project and team management. Strong technical expertise in the design of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber structures. Key responsibilities Lead and coordinate structural engineering projects, delivering high-quality technical designs. Prepare calculations, sketches, specifications, technical reports and design documentation. Review and approve designs, drawings, calculations and reports in accordance with quality procedures. Manage feasibility studies, structural surveys and technical investigations, producing clear findings and recommendations. Manage the delivery, budgets and financial control of small and medium-sized projects. Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, local authorities, contractors and other design team members.
