Good with figures, technically minded and confident preparing quotations?

Join a growing manufacturing business where you’ll turn customer enquiries and project information into accurate, competitive quotes. You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues, building your technical knowledge along the way.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and updating quotations from customer enquiries, drawings and specifications.
• Checking quantities, pricing and project requirements—spotting gaps and asking the right questions.
• Working with suppliers and internal teams to gather costs and product information.
• Keeping multiple enquiries moving and meeting quotation deadlines.
• Supporting sales with tenders, pricing queries and project handovers.

You’ll need

• Experience preparing quotations, estimates or costings, perhaps within technical sales, manufacturing, construction supply or a similar environment.
• Some technical understanding and confidence making sense of product information, drawings or specifications.
• Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and confidence using Excel.
• A practical approach to solving problems and the initiative to investigate anything that doesn’t add up.
• Clear communication and the ability to stay organised in a busy team.

You don’t need to know every product on day one. Relevant experience, sound judgement and a willingness to learn matter.
