The Role:We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in leading the kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic hotel environment.This is a 40 hours per week role with some weekends included. Shifts will be between 6am - 9pm to cover prep and service and shift length can vary from 8-10 hours. Key Responsibilities:Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchenLead and motivate the kitchen team during serviceMaintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygieneSupport menu development, including seasonal and special dishesManage stock control, ordering, and waste reductionEnsure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulationsStep into the Head Chef role when required Requirements:Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to progressBackground in hotel or high-volume kitchen environments preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsPassion for fresh, high-quality foodGood understanding of food safety standards (Level 2/3 Food Hygiene)Ability to work unde
