The site employs more than 400 people and specialises in the design, manufacture and testing of high-quality aerospace components, supporting some of the world''s leading aircraft and aerospace manufacturers. This is a key procurement position with responsibility for managing a portfolio of indirect materials and services, developing strategic supplier relationships and identifying opportunities to improve cost, quality, delivery and overall supplier performance. The Role As an Indirect Buyer, you will take ownership of an assigned supplier and commodity portfolio, working closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and other internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Managing supplier relationships across indirect materials and services. Developing and implementing sourcing and commodity strategies. Leading commercial negotiations with new and existing suppliers. Identifying and delivering cost-reduction and cost-out opportunities. Driving improvements across supplier cost, quality, delivery and service. Consolidating suppliers and leveraging spend across key categories.
