Oliver James is searching on behalf of a leading Lloyd''s insurance client to source a Procurement Manager to join the business to assist in the design, build out, and implementation of a global procurement function. This role will work closely with the Head of Procurement to contribute to strategic vendor and commercial management, category and commercial strategy, procurement capability build and stakeholder engagement.The role will have a strong focus on technology and data categories due to the large spend area.Ideal candidates will have experience with the following- Working on technology and data categories- Experience working within Insurance companies or complex regulated financial services- Experience in global procurement functions- Preferable for experience in greenfield projects- Diverse experience across multiple areas including vendor management, sourcing, contract renewal / negotiation and procurement capability build.- CIPS qualifications preferred but not requiredThis role is based in London and will require in-office working 4 days a week. ..... full job details .....
