The Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils across a variety of educational settings, helping maintain continuity of learning and ensuring pupils receive the support they need.

Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities may include:

Supporting classroom learning and educational activities.
Working with individuals and small groups of pupils.
Helping pupils remain engaged, focused and motivated.
Supporting classroom routines and positive behaviour.
Providing additional assistance to pupils with different learning needs.
Working collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.

Locations and Flexibility
We have school requirements across Northamptonshire, including:

Northampton.
Kettering.
Corby.
Wellingborough.
Surrounding towns and villages.
Flexibility to travel across these areas is important. Candidates who can accept assignments at different schools and locations will be well suited to this opportunity.

Reliable transport and the ability to commute to different school locations are highly advantageous.

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting.
A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
The ability to follow teachers'' instructions and adapt to new environments.
A reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
Flexibility to accept supply assignments as school requirements arise.
The ability to travel to schools across Northamptonshire.
Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) would be beneficial for assignments requiring additional support.
