1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in the Gosport area to recruit a compassionate and resilient 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 8 pupil with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. This is a highly rewarding role focused on supporting a student who can be disengaged from education and requires a positive role model to help rebuild confidence, improve engagement, and develop a more positive relationship with school. The successful candidate will play a key part in helping the pupil access learning and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally. The school is looking for someone who can build trust, form strong relationships, and motivate young people who may be experiencing barriers to education.
