Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Director to join their team.

The main purpose of this Business Development Manager role is to build a business unit from the ground up, develop their own team, and generate between £9 million and £10 million of annual sales within 3 years, with further growth thereafter.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £100k plus Uncapped Performance Bonus + Equity Opportunity depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generate and secure new business opportunities across target sectors
• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan
• Identify key decision-makers and develop long-term client relationships
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales and operational team.
• Establish clear KPIs and performance standards.
• Deliver annual sales targets of £9m-£10m+.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and business plans
• Support acquisitions, mergers, and expansion opportunities where appropriate

The ideal candidate:

• Proven track record of delivering multi-million-pound sales growth
• Experience building and leading successful teams
• Experience operating at Director, Head of Sales, Commercial Director or Managing Director level.
• Ability to engage confidently with board-level stakeholders
