My client, a major, highly-experienced Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for an Associate Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their accomplished team of engineers, based in the bustling, diverse city of Manchester. Essential Criteria: - A Bachelor''s or Master''s Degree in Geography, Environmental Sciences, or similar disciplines (or extensive equivalent commercial experience)- Demonstrable experience within flood risk and drainage, including with design guidance in alignment with the relevant laws and procedures- Demonstrable experience of project management within the industry- Experience of stakeholder management across the public and private sectors, with commercial knowledge and awareness- Good working knowledge of software packages, including MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, QGIS (and other GIS software), etc. It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Associate Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to possess the following skills and experience: - Chartered Membership of a Professional Body (or proactively working to attaining Chartered Status)- Excellent communication skills when liaising with internal and external stakeholders- Flexible and adaptable, with excellent time management skills In the diverse role of Associate Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a team of experts within the industry.
