The successful candidate will work across a range of year groups, providing both targeted and classroom-based support to pupils with a variety of special educational needs.The role will involve supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) on a 1:1 basis, as well as providing wider classroom support to promote positive learning, engagement, and behaviour throughout the school.The successful candidate will: Have experience working with children with SEND within a school or similar setting.Be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and adapting support to meet individual needs.Demonstrate a strong understanding of inclusive practice and child-centred support.Be able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.Support both the academic progress and emotional wellbeing of children.Remain calm, patient, and resilient when managing challenging situations.Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across different year groups as required.
