Location: Dunstable Shift Pattern: Monday-Thursday Hours: 15:45-01:30 Industry: Aerospace ManufacturingThe RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Production Operative to join an established aerospace manufacturing environment on a night shift basis.You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and machining various aerospace components, working from engineering drawings and route cards to produce high-quality finished components that meet strict aerospace standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and weld aerospace components using resistance/seam and automated TIG welding equipment.Work with a range of materials including stainless steel, titanium and Inconel.Form and trim bellows using automated, semi-automated and manual machinery.Work closely with the laboratory to ensure weld testing meets requirements.Work accurately from engineering drawings and route cards.Operate lathes, milling and drilling machines.Maintain required operator verification approvals and follow relevant procedures.Work efficiently to agreed quality and production standards.Support continuous improvement and improved working methods where possible.Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness on the shop floor.Follow all relevant Health and Safety, Fire, AWPS and operating procedures.Work effectively as part of a wider team and maintain a flexible approach.Essential RequirementsPrevious experience within a manufacturing environment.Experience operating lathes, milling and drilling ..... full job details .....
