Our client, a specialist in the water sector, is looking to strengthen their Planning team with a Senior Planner for the North West region. This permanent role is site-based at Wigan Waste Water Treatment Works. The Senior Planner will ensure that project plans have achievable timescales and are accurately monitored and updated. Key Responsibilities:Work with the estimating team to prepare programmes from tender documentation, ensuring compliance and realismPrepare programmes in accordance with contract requirements, update them and submit for acceptanceAssist with, and deliver, collaborative planning workshopsLiaise with project teams to ensure consistency of key assumptions on methodology and outputsIdentify opportunities and key risks during the planning processGather, collate and distribute progress information and reasons for deviations/delaysMaintain a baseline programme and measure progress against itMonitor and analyse changes to scope, revising programmes accordinglyAttend progress/project meetings and present programmes for reviewAttend site meetings to gather progress informationLead the development of Construction phase 4D PlanningReport programme issues to the Senior Planning Manager and site management teamDistribute regular look-ahead programmesEnsure an As Built programme is available at project closedownMaintain knowledge of site processes and costsRecord the effects of changes on site and the effects on the contract programmeAssist with the monthly progress
