IMT provides essential technology services, customer access, digital communications, business continuity and IT support for the Council.We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Support Officer to support the rollout of Windows 11 and assist with device replacement activities.Key Responsibilities Support the deployment of new PCs and Windows 11 across the CouncilAssist with Windows 11 in-place upgrades and provide helpdesk supportDiagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating where necessaryDeploy Windows 11 across multiple device modelsPrepare new devices, install applications and coordinate user handoversMaintain asset records and update the CMDBProvide professional, empathetic customer service and user guidanceContribute to project delivery and maintain IT knowledge base documentationEnsure adherence to Council standards on health and safety, equality and safeguarding This role is pivotal to ensuring a smooth and efficient upgrade of the Council s IT estate and supporting business users through the transition.To find out more information please contact Lily at (url removed)Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices.
