We are looking for an electrically biassed Maintenance Engineer for one of our long-standing clients based near Wigan. My client is a global manufacturer and have been operating in the area for over 100 years. 

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join this great company on their 4-shift rota. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation on all production equipment, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of the manufacturing process. 

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• £40,000 - £56,900 (DOE)

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Monday – Friday. (8am – 4pm / 6am – 2pm / 10pm – 6am / 2pm – 10pm) – 4-week rotation. 
• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability.
• Work safely and in compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant performance.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include: 

• Recognised Engineering Qualifications. 
• Electrically qualified. 
• Siemens and Allan Bradley PLC experience. 
• Ability to read electrical schematics. 
• VSD experience. 
• Strong electrical fault finding.
