Recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a Year 2 student with ASD and ADHD in a busy Romford School. For the role we are looking for somebody to build a positive relationship with the student to support their learnning and access the curriculum effectively.

Are you a proactive, quick-thinking Teaching Assistant that can engage with the student through creative and adaptable strategies?

To start as soon as possible - Monday - Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with a break.

Teaching Assistant Role and Qualification:

• Provide dedicated 1-1 support for a Year 2 student with ASD and ADHD.
• Use "Now and Next" strategies to support understanding and transitions.
• Adapt activities to maintain engagement and meet the students individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and assist with emotional regulation.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social interaction.
• Experience supporting children with ASD and ADHD
• L2/L3 Teaching Assistant, care or SEND qualification.
