A friendly and professional financial services company based in St Albans are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join their welcoming team. This is a busy role where you will provide a full reconciliation service to the Finance department. You will ensure all relevant regulatory requirements are met including the FCA Conduct Rules and Principles. You will be based within a modern office, centrally located and in easy reach of the town centre. The company offer excellent opportunities for development and progression in the future. What s in it for you: Pay: £26k Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm 20 days holiday (plus BH) which rises with length of service Parking onsite Pension Key responsibilities: Perform daily bank reconciliations of several accounts Raising cheques, initiating transfers and ensuring no overdrawn accounts Investigating and reconciling differences efficiently Cheque writing to cover all client money accounts, both manual and automated Monitoring cheque payments for bounced or uncleared items Inputting daily transfers and payments Provide support to the cashier function, including preparation of banking What the employer is looking for: Ideally 1-2 years similar experience, including processing reconciliations Solid experience within the financial services industry is preferred but not essential Minimum Intermediate knowledge of Excel Minimum GCSE A-C grade qualifications or equivalent Excellent attention to detail Red Door Recruitment is comm
