HLTA Opportunity - SEND School (Littleport)TimePlan Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Littleport to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive and dedicated team.This is a 4-5 days per week role, providing PPA cover across a wide age range from EYFS to KS4. The successful candidate will work with pupils who all have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The majority of students have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) alongside additional associated learning difficulties.The role will include:Delivering lessons during PPA cover across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs in a structured and nurturing environmentSome lesson planning and preparationWorking closely with teaching staff and the wider SEND team to ensure consistency and high-quality provisionThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience working with children or young people with SENDStrong understanding of ASD and associated learning needsConfidence managing a class and adapting learning to meet individual needsA calm, patient and flexible approachA teaching qualification or HLTA qualification would be an advantage.
