Minimum Professional Qualifications/experience AAT Qualified (Level 4) Positive, can do attitude, with a strong work ethic Strong IT skills mainly Excel skills, with experience of Big Change a advantange Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ideally has working knowledge of Quickbooks (accounting software) Ideally at least 2 years post qualified experience Job Description This role will report directly to the Finance Director and the main objectives will be as follows; Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including reconciliation of all Balance Sheet items and various PandL accounts Prepare, reconcile and submit quarterly VAT Returns via MTD Manage, prepare and submit monthly payroll (including RTI) Allocation of all bank transactions Preparation of all journals (including accruals and prepayments) Oversee all sales and purchase ledger transactions - including all credit control functions Acting as the first point of contact with suppliers for questions, support and issues Reconciling supplier statements Assist in preparation of annual budgets and any other reports as requested by the Finance Director Liaise with external bodies, such as auditors/banks etc Ensure that all regulatory requirements of all relevant statutory bodies are met
