This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their merchandising career within a fast-paced commercial environment. You''ll play a key role in ensuring products are available at the right time, in the right quantities, helping to maximise sales performance whilst maintaining efficient stock levels. Working closely with internal teams and international suppliers, you''ll gain exposure to the full product lifecycle, from forecasting and purchasing through to inventory management and performance analysis. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport stock planning activities to optimise availability and minimise excess inventoryAssist with forecasting, budgeting and category planning processesManage products throughout their lifecycle, from introduction through to clearanceMaintain accurate forecasting and inventory data within planning systemsCoordinate purchase orders and stock replenishment across a large product portfolioBuild effective relationships with international suppliers and support ongoing negotiationsMonitor shipment schedules, container utilisation and inbound stock movementsWork closely with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply issuesProduce regular stock, sales and ..... full job details .....
