We re recruiting for an established international engineering business looking for a Business Development Manager to grow its Optimisation and Energy Upgrades offering across the UK. You ll work with consultants, contractors, facility managers and end users to identify retrofit and energy-efficiency opportunities, develop the commercial case and influence projects from an early stage through to order. What you''ll be doing Develop a pipeline of optimisation and energy-upgrade opportunities across the UK Build relationships with consultants, contractors, facility managers and end-user clients Identify projects early and influence bid criteria and specification Position technical solutions around energy efficiency, carbon reduction and lifecycle savings Develop new customer relationships while growing existing accounts Manage opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation and close Work with technical teams to develop proposals, ROI cases and value-engineering solutions Promote energy-efficient HVAC and plant optimisation solutions Deliver workshops, seminars and product demonstrations Manage sales targets, forecasts, pipeline and margin Represent the business at industry events and customer ..... full job details .....
