A leading design-led consultancy in London is looking to appoint an experienced Building Safety Consultant to support the delivery of complex and high-profile projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in architecture, design management, or technical design coordination who has a strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations framework.

The successful Building Safety Consultant will be confident working closely with clients, consultants, and design teams, taking ownership of compliance processes and helping drive best practice across projects.

Key Requirements

• Experience working as a BR Principal Designer, Building Safety Consultant, or within Building Regulations compliance
• Background in architecture, design management, technical coordination, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations framework
• Knowledge of higher-risk buildings and design risk management preferred
• Relevant professional qualification such as RIBA, ARB, CIOB, CABE, or similar advantageous
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage projects independently and provide clear technical guidance
