Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Rotating Shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (weekly rotation)

GI Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading packaging company based in the Marston Green area of Birmingham. We are looking for an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join their busy warehouse team on a long-term basis.

Key Details:

• Location: Marston Green, Birmingham
• Shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, rotating weekly
• Job Type: Full-time, ongoing
• Industry: Packaging / Warehouse

Responsibilities:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles and palletised goods
• Moving stock around the warehouse and production areas
• Supplying materials to production lines as required
• Completing basic stock checks and following site processes
• Adhering to all health & safety and company procedures

Requirements:

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
• Minimum 2 years'' experience in a similar counterbalance role
• Recent, proven experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Confident operating in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
• Reliable, punctual and able to work rotating shifts (earlies and lates)
