– London-based asset management for CBRE''s growing EMEA portfolio of commercial real estate loans. The candidate will monitor, service and account for the loan portfolio and periodically contribute inputs for budgets, cost recovery, income and operating issues, with recommendations.Responsibilities
Service commercial real estate loans in the UK and continental Europe and monitor their performance and ability to support loan payments.Prepare loan performance reports.Provide general customer service to lenders and borrowers.Evaluate and prepare recommendations for lender consent items on loan and real estate related issues and present those recommendations to stakeholders.Manage the setup of new loans in the loan servicing system and maintain the integrity of loan information.Monitor loan document compliance by borrowers, including maintenance of property insurance and hedging, and submission of rent rolls and property operating statements.Prepare operating statement analyses and other collateral review activities.Undertake special projects as required.Qualifications
Experience in UK and European real estate finance sector.Experience servicing real estate debt transactions within the UK and/or Europe across various asset classes, including investment and development loans.Debt due diligence, credit analysis and transaction management expertise.Execution and documentation experience, including a sound knowledge of LMA standard loan documentation.Excellent analytical skills, both commercial and financial, with advanced knowledge of real estate financial modelling in Excel. Ability to prepare and present financing proposals with the skill to influence and overcome objections.Business development skills: existing borrower contacts and personal network in the sector are preferred.Strong, client-facing written and verbal communication skills (interacting with lenders, investors and borrowers).Presentation skills.Team player mentality.Educated to degree level or equivalent with five years+ relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Details
