REFUSE COLLECTORS WANTED Blue Arrow are looking to recruit refuse loaders for their client who has sites based in Wick and Thurso. Start Date - Early April for 4 weeks with potential for extension Hours - Mon, Tues and Thurs 07:00-16:00, Wed 07:00-14:00 and Friday 07:00-15:00 Pay Rate - 13.64/hour Responsibilities: As part of the Waste Management team, your duties will include:Assisting with refuse and recycling collection across designated routesWorking at Household Waste Recycling CentresDog fouling collectionSupporting bulky upliftsCarcass uplift and removal from roadwaysBin deliveries to households and businessesFly tipping removalWorking within landfill or transfer stationsGeneral street scene management to maintain cleanliness and safetyYou may be required to work independently or as part of a crew/team depending on operational needs. About You: We are looking for candidates who:Are physically fit and capable of manual handling and liftingWork well both as part of a team and independentlyAre comfortable in a public-facing roleTake pride in delivering services that are highly visible to local communitiesAre reliable, punctual, and able to follow health and safety proceduresPrevious experience in waste management is helpful but not essential-full training will be provided.
