We are looking for a 2 reliable School Caretakers to look after all parts of running the school site. You will be the main link between our company and the school, and the friendly face of our service.Location: L32 3XQJob Type: Temporary, initially until the 31st of DecemberPay: 13.02 per hour (PAYE)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute break each day.rEarly shift: 06:00 - 14:00Late shift: 10:00 - 18:00Occasional weekend work is needed.You must be flexible and able to cover both shifts.Your duties will include:General site management, including planned and reactive building maintenancePorterage, security and reception dutiesLocking and unlocking the school buildingCarrying out site security tours and keeping the building secure at all timesKeeping the site visitor book up to date, including signing in contractorsManaging outside contractors on site, following company and health and safety rules, and issuing access permitsCarrying out temporary and permanent repairs when neededCompleting planned maintenance as directed, including fire alarm testing and L8 testingDoing minor works such as painting and putting up notice boardsTaking monthly meter readingsResponding quickly to school requests and any reactive tasks during the school dayManaging the building when community groups are using itFollowing COSHH rules, including safe storage of chemicalsMaking sure all equipment is in good repair and used correctlyKeeping company records to the required legal ..... full job details .....
