Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Dudley

Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum

Shifts: Rotating shifts

 
An established, high-volume manufacturing site in Dudley is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. This role sits within a modern production facility supplying high-quality steel products to a global customer base.

 
The Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of production machinery and supporting continuous manufacturing operations. Working within a skilled engineering team, you’ll deliver both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of automated and heavy-duty equipment.

 
Key Responsibilities:

•  Electrical and mechanical fault-finding on production machinery

•  Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown response

•  Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives

•  Working safely in a high-risk, heavy manufacturing environment

•  Recording maintenance activities and supporting compliance standards
  
  

•  Time-served / apprentice-trained engineer

•  Strong multi-skilled background (electrical bias preferred)

•  Experience within steel, metals, heavy manufacturing, or similar industrial environments

•  Comfortable working rotating shifts

•  Safety-focused, reliable, and able to work under pressur
