Responsibilities for the production planner Production Planning for three sites Setting lead times for each production machine daily Purchasing of raw materials and tooling but pricing is already agreed and in place with one supplier, so only processing in line with the production plan Responsible for planning KPI''s Attend daily production meetings and communicate changes and reset priorities with team Liaise closely with the transport manager to ensure production plan links closely with transport and logistics schedule IT literate and familiar with ERP type systems, Microsoft suite, able to utilise systems for planning and reporting The ability to multi-task and be responsive to customer demands is essential with lead times of 5 working days in a fast moving and quick turnround business environment Key Skills required for the production planner Previous experience of production planning or scheduling in volume manufacturing environments Any production related qualifications are useful but not essential if candidates can demonstrate a suitable and relevant wo
