The successful Assistant Engineering Manager will play a key role in supporting the Engineering Manager with the day-to-day running of the engineering department, ensuring machinery reliability, minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement across the site. You will be responsible for supporting and developing a team of Maintenance Engineers, overseeing planned preventative maintenance, coordinating engineering activities and ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and operational efficiency are maintained. Sector - Factory Maintenance / Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Assistant Engineering Manager Previous experience in an engineering leadership, supervisory or management position within an industrial manufacturing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance background. Experience managing or supervising maintenance teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
