User ResearcherRate: 525/day Inside IR35Duration: 4 months initiallyClearance: Active SC requiredWorking pattern: 2 days pw in TelfordRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced User Researcher to support the delivery of digital services within a complex Home Office environment.The role will sit within a multidisciplinary delivery team, conducting research to understand user needs, behaviours and pain points and using those findings to shape the design and development of services.The successful candidate may support a number of service areas, including Digital Notebooks, Manage Appointment Booking, and Restoring Order and Control.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and conduct user research across digital services and productsIdentify user needs, behaviours, pain points and opportunities for improvementDesign and deliver qualitative and quantitative research activities, including interviews, usability testing, workshops and contextual researchAnalyse research findings and translate them into clear, actionable insightsWork closely with Service Designers, Interaction Designers, Product Managers, Business Analysts and delivery teamsSupport iterative design and development by testing concepts, prototypes and live services with usersPresent research findings clearly to delivery teams and senior stakeholdersEnsure research considers accessibility and the needs of users with different levels of digital capabilityMaintain research artefacts and contribute to the wider evidence base across ..... full job details .....
