Employability, PSHE and Life Skills Tutor Part-Time TARA Professional Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary education setting seeking a dedicated and engaging Employability, PSHE and Life Skills Tutor to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a temporary opportunity commencing after the October half term, from 2nd November through to Christmas. The role is ideal for an enthusiastic education professional who can help secondary-aged pupils develop the practical skills, confidence and knowledge they need to navigate everyday life, understand the world of work and prepare for their future. The role The successful Employability, PSHE and Life Skills Tutor will deliver engaging, relevant and accessible sessions designed to develop pupils personal, social and practical skills alongside their understanding of employability. Topics may include preparation for employment, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, personal responsibility, healthy relationships, wellbeing, decision-making, independence and managing everyday situations. The successful candidate will be able to make learning meaningful by connecting classroom activities to real-life experiences. They will encourage pupils to participate, develop confidence and recognise the value of the skills they are learning.
