This is an excellent opportunity for a confident air freight professional who can work independently and take ownership of the air import function during their shift. As the senior import clerk, there will be occasions, particularly at weekends, where you will be the only Air Imports specialist on site, so the ability to manage your own workload and make decisions confidently is essential. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end air import shipments from arrival through to final delivery. Liaise with airlines, handling agents, overseas offices, customers and transport providers. Complete import documentation accurately and efficiently. Arrange customs clearance and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations. Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues. Provide excellent customer service and regular shipment updates. Ensure all files are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
