We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Local Housing Officer to cover Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in social housing and a passion for community service.

Position: Local Housing Officer
Location: Brent
Salary: -29.12 per hour (Umbrella)
Job Type: Full-time / Temp Rolling Contract
Essential: Must be a car user with a valid driving licence and own vehicle

Role Overview:

As a Local Housing Officer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating housing and estate services within Brent and surrounding areas. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of our customers. You will be the face of our values, embodying care, dare, and collaboration in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate housing and estate services within a defined geographical area.

Act as a customer-facing representative, upholding our values across all tenures.

Coordinate both internal and external services to fully support our customers'' diverse needs.

Engage in local initiatives and community projects, which may include occasional weekend work.

Continuously seek to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Manage relationships with the Local Authority and other Housing Association partners.

Handle customer complaints, estate services, tenancy management, enforcement, and lettings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must be an essential car user with a valid driving licence and own vehicle.

Proven experience in a social housing setting.

Strong knowledge of housing practice, housing law, and service charge management principles.
