Production Planner / Scheduler Temp to Perm Hours: 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday half hour lunch with a 15-minute morning and afternoon break. My client is looking for a highly organised production planner/scheduler to work alongside its Operations team at its Halesowen manufacturing facility. The initial priority is to maintain a detailed, live production schedule across multiple concurrent exhibition and event projects, working backwards from immovable installation/build dates. The successful person will break projects down into individual production activities, establish required completion dates, allocate work against available capacity, identify clashes and bottlenecks early, chase outstanding information and update the production schedule daily. We are particularly interested in candidates from manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, joinery, shopfitting, signage/graphics, print, exhibition manufacture or other project-led production environments. Strong Excel skills are essential; experience with ERP/MRP, production planning software, Gantt scheduling or capacity planning would be highly desirable. This is initially a temp-to-perm appointment, allowing both my client and the candidate to establish that the role is the right fit before moving to a permanent position.
