Are you an experienced 7.5T Delivery Driver in Leicester looking for steady delivery work Nationwide? This is a great opportunity to join a busy driving team, with immediate starts, ongoing work and the chance to work towards a permanent contract.

As a 7.5T Delivery Driver, you will deliver food and drink products from the customer’s site in Leicester to customers such as schools, care homes and restaurants. The number of deliveries you will do per day will depend on the area that you are working in. It can be anything from 6-8 local school deliveries to reduce the bulk loads, or up to 25 deliveries within a local post-coded area.

A professional attitude, excellent timekeeping and strong customer service skills are important. You will also assist with loading and unloading, complete vehicle checks and work with the team to ensure deliveries are made safely and on time.


Role & Responsibilities:

• Timely Deliveries: Transport wholesale food products from Leicester safely to key clients, including schools, restaurants, and care homes.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Complete daily pre-route safety and vehicle checks.
• Hands-on Support: Assist with the efficient loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Customer Excellence: Maintain a professional attitude and deliver top-tier customer service on every route.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement
• Valid digital tachograph card
• Valid CPC card
• Previous 7.5T Delivery Driver / 7.5T driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DD, DR or TT conviction codes

Hours:

Monday to Friday work with occasional Saturday’s. Start times from 05:00/06:00 usually finishing around 14:00/15:00.

Pay details:

You will be paid a competitive £14.35 per hour with weekly pay whilst through the agency.

When you gain your permanent contract, you will be on a salary plus company benefits.
