Area Registered Manager

Job Scope:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and dynamic Area Registered Manager to oversee multiple supported living services for adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions. The Area Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring all services operate to the highest standards, with consistent practices, strong governance, and full compliance with CQC requirements.
Reporting to senior management, the Area Registered Manager will lead and support four Unit Team Leaders, driving operational excellence across services.
Key responsibilities include conducting audits, supervising staff, overseeing safeguarding processes, delivering training, and ensuring effective workforce planning. This role demands a hands-on approach, with most time spent within the services, working closely with teams to uphold quality, safety, and person-centred care.
The ideal candidate will bring strategic oversight, proven leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional care outcomes. A background in supported living, strong CQC compliance history, and the ability to align services under consistent business standards are essential.

Do you have?
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within supported living or related health and social care services.
- Strong track record of achieving and maintaining positive CQC inspection outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of governance, safeguarding, and workforce planning.
- Skilled in audits, supervision, and staff development.
- Ability to align multiple services to consistent quality and operational standards.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support diverse teams.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
