The role of the Transport Planner will be to plan and execute collection and delivery schedules via the most cost-efficient means, in line with the business objectives, customer service levels and current legislative requirements. Fully utilise all vehicles to ensure accurate and appropriate allocation of drivers/vehicles/trailers/customer deliveries and backloads. Work closely with the Workshop to ensure vehicles and trailers are available to support the transport requirement, service scheduling is built into the plan and advise the operation in a timely manner when there are any risks to vehicle or trailer availability.
