Senior Geotechnical Engineer Cardiff 35,000 - 45,000A leading specialist consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Cardiff team.The role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of geotechnical projects, taking responsibility for technical delivery while supporting the development of junior engineers.The role:Managing and delivering geotechnical projects from ground investigation through to designUndertaking geotechnical analysis and design for a range of projectsWorking on foundations, retaining structures, earthworks and slope stabilityReviewing ground investigation information and producing interpretive reportsProviding technical advice to clients and project teamsLiaising with clients, contractors and other disciplinesPreparing technical specifications, reports and fee proposalsSupporting and mentoring junior members of the teamContributing to business development and client relationshipsAbout you:Degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or a related subjectPrevious experience within a geotechnical consultancyStrong understanding of ground investigation and geotechnical designExperience with foundation and earthworks designComfortable managing projects and working directly with clientsChartered or working towards Chartership is desirableThe position would suit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer looking for a varied project portfolio, increased responsibility and the opportunity to progress ..... full job details .....
