We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a well-established and growing engineering company based in Tipton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for a stable, long-term role on a day shift.


 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all parts meet required quality standards and tolerances
• Read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components
• Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
• Work collaboratively with the production team to improve efficiency and workflow
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator
• Experience with Siemens, XYZ, or Fanuc controls (preferred)
• Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tooling, and setups
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player

• Competitive hourly rate (£15 – £17 depending on experience)
