Role Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of a modular construction project within a live healthcare environment. This role requires a strong and proactive leader, ideally with experience in modular construction, who can manage site operations effectively while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality in a sensitive setting.
Key Responsibilities Site Management & Coordination
- Oversee day-to-day site operations for the installation of modular units
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and delivery schedules to maintain programme timelines
- Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks, ensuring clear communication and task allocation
- Ensure all works are completed in line with technical specifications and quality standards
- Enforce strict health and safety procedures in line with CDM regulations and company policies
- Carry out regular site inspections, risk assessments, and incident reporting
- Maintain site security, access control, and safe separation from operational and public areas
- Provide regular progress updates and attend coordination meetings
- Work closely with design, engineering, and project teams to resolve site issues
- Liaise with client representatives during site visits and maintain professional communication
- Oversee installation quality and commissioning processes
- Manage site documentation including RAMS, daily records, permits, and inspections
- Ensure all snagging and handover documentation is completed to required standards
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor within modular or fast-track construction
- Experience working on complex, live operational sites
- Strong understanding of modular installation, crane operations, and logistics planning
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-sensitivity environment
- Competent in interpreting drawings, managing quality, and working to programme deadlines

- CSCS Manager’s Card – Essential
- First Aid at Work – Essential
- NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification – Desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
