Senior Full Stack EngineerLondon – Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)A fast growing deep tech start up is developing cutting edge solutions in the audio intelligence and communications space. You will help shape customer facing tools and core platform features, working closely with talented engineers, product specialists, and designers.This is an opportunity to work on innovative technology that is being used by a range of organisations, from scaling start ups to large global enterprises.The Role

In this position you will work across the full stack and contribute to a wide range of technical initiatives:Build and improve backend services using TypeScript and (sometimes) a little PythonDevelop responsive and efficient user interfaces with TypeScript and Next.jsWork with both relational and non relational databases to design reliable data solutionsSet up and maintain containerised services using Docker and related toolsCreate streamlined CI/CD workflows to speed up testing and deploymentsDeploy and oversee applications running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Write clean, maintainable, and well structured code that follows engineering best practicesPartner closely with cross functional teams to deliver new features and improvementsInvestigate and resolve technical issues while enhancing performance and scalabilityThe ideal candidate

CS/STEM educatedFull-stack, 50:50 or slightly Backend leaning (not Frontend leaning)Strong experience working with TypeScript across both frontend and backendHands on experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL alternativesComfortable working with Docker for containerisation and deploymentFamiliar with modern CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or JenkinsGood understanding of Google Cloud Platform and services such as Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Pub/SubExposure to modern API technologies including GraphQL, REST, gRPC, or ProtobufThrives in fast paced, collaborative environments and enjoys problem solvingWilling to pick up new tools and frameworks when requiredIt would be beneficial to have Python knowledge for building APIs, data flows, or scriptsIf you are interested in working on groundbreaking products within an ambitious and forward thinking start up, get in touch for a confidential conversation.Seniority level
