Location: Saffron Walden (CB10)Type: PermanentHours: 9am - 5.30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: circa -40,000 depending on experience Job Reference: 36366Our client, an innovative technology and engineering business, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Management Assistant to support the successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects.Responsibilities:- Provide administrative and coordination support across multiple projects- Maintain project plans, schedules, resource records and documentation- Track project budgets, expenditure and forecasts- Monitor project actions, risks and issues, following up with relevant stakeholders- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, presentations and management information- Arrange project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and monitor agreed actions- Support project start-up, closure and lessons-learned activities- Identify opportunities to improve processes, standardise working practices and automate routine tasks- Assist with the delivery of smaller projects as experience developsRequirements:- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail- Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate multiple activities effectively- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels- Strong written communication skills, including report writing and meeting documentation- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook- A proactive, analytical approach with an interest in process improvement and automation- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a teamDesirable experience:- Background in project administration, project support or project coordination- Understanding of project management principles and methodologies- Experience using project management or business systems such as Microsoft Project, Jira or ERP platforms- Familiarity with resource planning, budget monitoring or workflow automationPlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
