Class 2 Cylinder Driver
Location: Port Clarence
Shift Times: Monday to Friday - flexible working hours dependent on volume/calls. Usual start time 06:00. One Saturday will be required on a rota basis (details provided at start).
Pay Rate: £34,999 per annum (£15.84 per hour equivalent)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (Initial 12-week period)

We are currently recruiting Class 2 Cylinder Drivers to join our team based in Port Clarence, supporting our client''s cylinder delivery operations.

Our client is a leading name in logistics and fuel distribution, providing specialist services in the transport of bulk and cylinder gases to both commercial and domestic customers. They pride themselves on safety, reliability, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Class 2 rigid vehicles delivering gas cylinders to a variety of customers
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely deliveries in accordance with customer requirements
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and compliance
• Adhere to health andamp; safety standards and all company policies
• Represent the company professionally while on customer sites

Requirements:

• A valid LGV C (Class 2) driving licence
• A current CPC qualification and DIGI tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
• Previous cylinder delivery experience is beneficial, but not essential
