Year 2 Teacher – The Role

• Join a well-established team on a permanent basis from September 2026
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum
• Support pupils in preparation for end of Key Stage 1 assessments (SATs)
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across KS1

Year 2 Teacher – The School

Year 2 Teacher – Key Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Experience teaching in KS1 (preferred but not essential for ECTs)
• A proactive, organised, and engaging teaching style
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
