Assistant Management Accountant - 12 Months Fixed Term - Moreton-In-Marsh, Gloucestershire - Hays Your new companyHays Accountancy and Finance are partnering with a leading and well-established manufacturing business in Moreton-In-Marsh, Gloucestershire, to recruit a hands-on and dynamic Assistant Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract. A varied and hands-on accounting role, working within a close-knit team where you can really add value. You will provide key support to delivering management account preparation, assistance with financial reporting, through to transactional finance duties. Open to finance professionals who are qualified by experience or part-qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA. The position will provide training/development for the right candidate, but you will need some experience in a similar finance role. Your new roleYour key duties will involve preparation of monthly management accounts, supporting margin analysis data, maintenance of the fixed asset register, posting monthly journals, accruals and prepayments. You will prepare stock information, stock adjustments and revaluation, prepare manufacturing variances and stock reconciliations. You will carry out monthly accounts payable/receivable reconciliations, oversight of credit control activities, preparation of payable/receivable days, along with ad-hoc duties and projects for senior management.
