Do you want to work for a growing bespoke engineering and automation company that specialises in special purpose machinery? Due to growth within the business, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join their close-knit team.

Role & Responsibilities of an Electrical Technician:

• Working on bespoke industrial machinery
• Dealt with switchgear, servo drives, motors and sensors
• Electrical building, testing and installation of special purpose machinery
• Occasional travel to customer sites for installation and modification activities
• PLCs - Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron
• Machinery building, control panel - wiring, build, testing

Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be an Electrical Technician:

• Must be an electrically biased engineer
• Ideally completed a recognised UK apprenticeship
• Level 3 NVQ in electrical installation or electrical maintenance
• Experience working on PLCs
• Worked on switchgear, servo drives, motors and sensors
• Electrical build, wiring, testing and installation - control panels
• Approachable, personable, positive team player
