Your New CompanyWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider operating within a secure environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join a well-established team at HMP Styal on a temporary-to-permanent basis.Your New RoleAs a Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site. Working within a team of maintenance professionals, you will ensure that plumbing systems and associated building services are maintained safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities include:Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing repairsMaintenance of water systems, sanitary ware and associated pipeworkFault-finding and diagnosis of plumbing issuesInstallation and replacement of plumbing components and fixturesEnsuring compliance with health and safety and water hygiene regulationsSupporting wider maintenance activities where requiredParticipation in the 1-in-3 weekend rotaWhat You''ll Need to SucceedNVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)Previous experience in a maintenance environmentExperience undertaking both reactive and planned worksAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong understanding of health and safety proceduresFull UK driving licence is desirableWhat You''ll Get in ReturnTemporary to permanent opportunityStable 39-hour working weekCompetitive pay ratesOngoing training and developmentOpportunity to ..... full job details .....
